The country of Haiti has been devastated by earthquake and it truly is amazing to see how the world is coming together to help.   Along with many other Christians and Churches all over the world, we want to do our part.  This Sunday (January 17th), we are going to take up a second offering and we will be sending all of it to ERDO who will be using the funds in bringing emergency relief to Haiti.  Here’s the cool thing,  the government of Canada is matching every dollar that is given to ERDO – let’s take advantage of this opportunity!

As important as it is, all the money and supplies making their way to Haiti is not the only thing the people there need.  They need the presence and power of our God and Saviour.  So PRAY folks!  We’ve set up a page (click here) that we are going to leave up for a while that has some ways that you can pray.  We also encourage anyone who has a loved one in Haiti or knows of someone who does to leave their prayer requests as a comment on that page.  We also welcome anyone who wants, to leave a prayer for Haiti as a comment on that page.
