Pastors Update From Thailand

Hello everyone!
Well we are back in Bangkok and so we have an internet connection. We had dinner tonight with the Pellowe’s here at McIntosh’s. It was great to see them. They are enjoying their trip!
A few days ago God stirred me in the middle of the night about the next days prayer time. The prayer time focused on the Pastor’s praying for rest in accordance with a verse in Isa. 58, which speaks about stammering lips and speaking in other tongues and God using this as a means of giving us rest. I had the Pastor’s spend an extended time praying in tongues believing that God wanted to provide rest for them. Later, Peter told me that the one thing Thai pastors don’t do well is rest. So the prayer time was very significant!
The place we did the seminar in was a children’s home. 150 kid’s who live in residence are mostly Christians, who live in the country and live at the school so they can attend school. A month ago the school told the workers at the residence they would be having a special time of Buddhist training the second week of July and wanted to know from the leaders if the kids could attend. The local missionary said no. Well the special teaching dates corresponded with my seminar dates and so the children came in to hear me speak.
Part of the Buddhist training was to spend time teaching the children about chatting and meditating. Well Cavell, the missionary couldn’t believe that the second session I did was on hearing the voice of the Spirit! She was overjoyed by what the kids heard. Those kids took notes at every session. They seemed to get as much out of the seminar as the Pastors. As well at the final session we prayed for them like we did for the Pastors.
I talked to Ben Moser for a few minutes via cell phone about the ESL team and what they were doing. He was excited by what the team was being able to do. He told me that the other night they came across a teacher. When she heard what they were doing she asked if the team could come to her school. They had an opening in their schedule the next morning and so the team went. When the Pastor in that area heard about what was happening he was overjoyed. He has been praying for a long time for a door to open into that school and he was overjoyed by what God had orchestrated!

Well tomorrow night we leave for Sri Lanka for the second part of the seminars.
