Pastor Marshall Eizenga is a sports enthusiast and has been his entire life – although these days his enjoyment is purely recreational in nature. As much as he enjoys the thrill of participating in sports, he has found there is a greater thrill by far, in living a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. Life has taught him there is nothing better than living each day in the Presence and Power of the Spirit of God! His desire would be that everyone would live in this reality, experiencing the resulting overflow of divine guidance, blessing, favour and grace. His heart is “To Serve God and Love People.” Pastor Marshall and Merrie have been at WPA for over 20 years. Merrie is an accomplished conference speaker and teacher. God has blessed them with 2 wonderful young adult children who love God and are sports enthusiasts as well.
Pastor Darren Ethier joined the WPA team in May of 2008. He is a fan of hockey and is always looking for opportunities to lace up and get on the ice! He absolutely loves the emphasis WPA has on living and moving in the power of the Holy Spirit and has a passion for helping people discover how God has made them and finding a place where they serve God in their gifting! He has been in full-time ministry since 1996. He is married to Kerryanne and they have 4 beautiful young children that keep life busy! He is also a bit of a tech nerd and loves implementing and using technology in ways that benefit the kingdom of God. As the Assistant Pastor, Darren oversees the adult ministries of the church. Pastor Janette Routley came to the ‘big city’ to attend Wilfrid Laurier University and found a home at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly. After completing her BA in Language & Literature, she spent a year at Hillsong International Leadership College in Australia where a passion was stirred in her heart to continue to serve in the local church. She loves leading worship, mentoring other worship leaders and playing piano. Since she was a little girl Janette has loved worship music and understands it is a powerful tool that ministers to people where they are. It brings them to the feet of Jesus and offers a message of hope, healing, peace and joy. When she’s not singing, Janette can be found songwriting, making African Chicken Peanut Soup, or riding her motorcycle (weather permitting).
From the warm bright beaches of the Sunshine State, Pastor Kim Davis followed the voice of God and a call of ministry all the way to the great city of Waterloo. After 6 years of working with and leading a discipleship program here in Waterloo, Kim began a new journey that after two years of searching, brought her right back to the very passion that brought her to Waterloo in the first place; to serve, love, teach and disciple. Kim, along with her husband Dan and their crazy dog Sam are excited about the potential that lies here in the Waterloo Region for Young Adults and the plans that God has in store for them.
Pastor Rob Kropf was born and raised in the K-W area and it is his desire to see this generation of youth committed in a relationship with Jesus Christ and engaging this world with the love of Christ.
Pastor Kathy thinks it is swell to be on staff at WPA and is thankful to the Holy Spirit for leading her to the beautiful Waterloo Region. Before moving to Waterloo, she ministered in cities such as Edmonton, Sault Ste. Marie and more recently Guelph.
Having grown up in Brampton, she is fascinated by culture and diversity and is always curious to hear God’s amazing story in the lives of people. She enjoys hiking, working out, high heels and Starbucks but finds the greatest joy and fulfillment in hearing the heart of children and parents as well as seeing kids respond not only to God with their minds but with their whole hearts as well.
Because of her love and desire of doing ministry in relationship, she invites you to call, email, facebook or pop in her office for a visit.
