Our Mission

To CONNECT with each other and DEVELOP passion, creativity and momentum to impact our Church and the Marketplace where we are called to SERVE.
Our Purpose
NetWorkers is a ministry for the people of WPA who are called to the marketplace. This includes entrepreneurs, business owners and self-employed persons. This is a place for people of like mind and faith to come together to:
- Connect – network, socialize, express business needs, share ideas
- Develop – offer training/coaching sessions from time to time
- Serve – support one another through prayer and others at WPA or outside our walls that the Holy Spirit lays on our hearts. Specifically, prayers will go up for each Net-Worker, the businesses represented and the souls that we touch in the marketplace.
By God’s grace, those who are a part of this ministry will walk boldly and humbly in their calling to the marketplace, and will be blessed professionally and spiritually as a result of their involvement in it. The NetWorkers do not gauge success in business on the world’s standards, and we encourage people to run healthy businesses that are balanced and leave time for spiritual growth and family.
Meetings
- The first Wednesday of the month from Noon-1:30pm at Ennio’s across the street from the church.
- A different NetWorker will host each meeting and will include a time of prayer at the opening, followed by a short devotion/testimony/word of encouragement and presentation of their business, and ending with a time of blessing and prayer for the host and his/her business.
- A time for a social exchange (for those who are able to stay afterwards) will be available at the end of the meeting.
- The agenda will be the same at every meeting and the host will be accountable to keep within the time restrictions, so that the time of each NetWorker is respected and they can plan their schedule accordingly.
