WHAT IS MCC?

Masters Commission Canada is a discipleship program like no other! It is a place to come and pursue God passionately with your whole heart. Each student commits eight months of their lives to fulltime discipleship training. It is a balanced training process composed of 1/3 Hands on training, 1/3 Academic, 1/3 Prayer, and the Word. Everyday we set apart time for students to spend time with God; we start our day with an hour of prayer, throughout the day our students memorize scripture and prepare for upcoming services. We travel to many churches and youth groups as well as ministering to our own church; Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly.

MINISTRY INVOLVEMENT

Our students are involved in various ministries that we believe will equip students to fulfill the purpose that God has created them for. Each student will learn what it means to be a disciple and servant of God firsthand. Throughout the course of 8 months students will be given the opportunity to minister and reach out to people of all ages.

EVANGELISM AND OUTREACH

We are committed to reaching our community and making a difference in this world. Each student will be involved with scheduled high school outreaches once a month as well as street ministry every Tuesday night in downtown Kitchener. We also travel extensively throughout North America allowing our students to gain a unique worldview.

YOUTH MINISTRY

We travel to various churches and youth groups throughout Canada and the US to minister at services, youth rallies, retreats, conferences and conventions. Many of our students in the past have gone into youth ministry after graduating from MCC.

CHILDREN’s MINISTRY

Each student will receive valuable training and experience with children through exposure to our Children’s ministry; which touches the lives of over 500 kids each week! As well as we participate in Shining Stars kids choir.

WHO IS MCC FOR?

If you have graduated high school and have a desire to passionately pursue God, you are a candidate for Master’s Commission. Each and every student is provided with intense discipleship and ministry training to live out his or her individual calling. What our world needs is more people who will sell out 100% to God, regardless of what they do for a living. There is no question that master’s will shape evangelists, pastors, and missionaries, but it is our prayer that we will also shape lawyers, teachers, and business people! Whether you are called to be a street preacher or a street sweeper, Master’s Commission may be just the avenue you need to see God’s purposes for your life fulfilled.

Dan Davis, Acting Director

Dan, a home town man born and raised right here in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, graduated from 2 years of training with Master's Commission Canada. He then became a strong part of Master's Commission Canada's leadership team and over the course of 2 more years became Director of the program. His past years of involvement with MCC have prepared him for nothing less than such a time as this. Dan's excitement for discipleship and love for people ignite his passion to "know God and to make Him known." Along with his wife Kim and a mighty leadership team they are prepared to do what it takes to win this Nation back to God. One person, one youth group, one church and one city at a time!

POWER

We believe that God is desperate for a relationship with His creation. He relentlessly pursues us, and once we submit to Him, He gives us the power of His Holy Spirit. Subsequently, living a life that pleases God involves allowing the Holy Spirit the freedom to direct our words and actions for His benefit, and to live out God's plan through us to accomplish the miraculous. It involves each believer individually responding to the Holy Spirit and finding fulfillment in the work that He calls them to.

PROCLAMATION

We recognize that our society is dynamic. Cultural influences continually change, and in order to successfully impact the community of today we will begin by discovering the questions people are asking. We will tangibly meet the needs of those doing the asking, and we will provide the ultimate answer; the answer that is found in a relationship with the unchanging God.

PEOPLE

We believe that God created us to be relational. He has called us to love one another and, in doing so, to create a social environment that cares for the individual. Our love for each other should be evident as we treat each other with care and respect, recognizing that we are all a part of God's family. We believe in lending a hand to those who are in need, feeding those who are hungry and in love restoring those who have lost their way. We are welcoming to all people by extending grace and compassion with impartiality. We are Jesus' hands tangibly extended.

PURPOSE

We acknowledge that God has made us multi-dimensional beings and that He cares about our whole person - spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally. When we become a follower of Jesus a journey of discovery begins; a journey of development that will last our lifetime. God has unique plans for our journey so that we might reach our ultimate eternal destiny with him. To assist in this journey, we endeavor to provide the tools required to develop the whole person, to inspire passion for the journey, and to bring as many with us as possible.

PREPARATION

God designed and created each of us distinctly, individually and perfectly according to His plan, and He has granted each one unique gifts and talents. These talents were given to bring honor and glory to God. We will only find fulfillment when we use them for His purpose. Giving glory to God requires the active use of our heart, mind and soul and we believe that when doing so we should give God our best, for He deserves nothing less.

PASSION

We believe that Jesus is God in human form. His life, death and resurrection removed all doubt and today Jesus calls us to follow Him. Following Jesus means to live a life that consistently displays His characteristics. When we live a life of love, service and submission, we will begin to look like Jesus...and God will be pleased.

PURSUIT

Living in truth is to live in freedom, without the kind of masks that we wear in order to appear as someone that we are not. God is not fooled and he desires a genuine, authentic relationship with us, one that is free from pretenses and pride. This kind of relationship is only possible when we know the truth of God's Word, when we deal with others openly and honestly, and when our lives increasingly match our beliefs.
