Our goal in the outreach ministry is not only to reach the hurting and lost of our city, but to improve the quality of life in our community.
RECLAIM AND RESTORE STREET MINISTRY
Each Tuesday night, following Concert of Prayer, at approx. 8:15, a team leaves WPA to meet in Downtown Kitchener. Once there, the team stops at Kitchener City Hall, Oasis Drop In Centre, and the House of Friendship, as well as walking along King St. to meet people, build relationships, assist people in various ways. Depending on the season, hot or cold drinks are given out, along with granola bars. As well, many hygiene items are given out along with other articles.
The team meets a great number of people at various stations in their lives, and are blessed as others are blessed.
