Praise and Worship is such an essential element in our services here at WPA! There is such an amazing opportunity to minister to our church every week. Music Department

Band:

Skilled musicians who have the ability to flow with the team, and who play for Sunday services. Individuals are encouraged to participate in seminars and training opportunities that arise, as well as practise on their own time.

Frontline team:

Vocalists who are worshippers at heart, but also have the ability to blend with the team; they must have a good ear for harmony.

Choir:

A dynamic worship choir that is an integral part of the Sunday morning worship team. They do special ‘items’ as well as sing in seasonal productions.

Sound Technician:

Maintains and operates the sound system for church services, special events and productions. Partners with the music team to run services without distractions.

Creative Department

Lighting Technician:

Operates lighting controls during a service, special events and productions.

Video Projection:

Operates the computer and video projection system during each service and during special events for announcements, displaying pastors’ sermons, songs, choruses, and videos

Drama:

Includes play writing, small dramas done in services, full-scale theatrical productions involving stage make-up, hair-styling, dance, acting, stage crew, etc…

Builds:

construction, woodworking, metalworks, carpentry, electrical, drafting and designing sets.

Costumes:

Shopping, designing and sewing costumes.

Prep and Props:

Shop for and/or create props for dramas and for new stage designs. Also helps decorate foyer for special events

Details:

Painting, this team does everything that involves the finishing touches.
