Young Adults
If you happen to find yourself in between the ages of 18-30(ish) regardless if you’re a student, young professional, or someone who is simply trying to figure it all out and whether you happen to be single or attached, then we absolutely have a place for you. Our hope is to provide you with people and avenues to bring you though the challenges and changes that your current life stage holds, whatever that might be and whatever that might look like…

Upcoming Events and Announcements for Young Adults
- The next YAK N SNAK is May 19th at Kylie Baldin’s house! Carpooling & directions available.
- ENGAGING CULTURE SEMINAR – Ravi Zacharias International Ministries is hosting a 4 part “Engaging Culture” seminar on May 25th at Tyndale University from 9:00-1:30pm. Cost is $37.50 and tickets include a light breakfast. Click here for more details or contact Anna Agostan.
- Love & The Outcome CONCERT – May 27. 7pm at KW Christian Fellowship. Tickets are $10 in advance & $15 at the door. See Pastor Kim to purchase your tickets today! Seating is limited!!
- CANOEING, BBQ & BONFIRE DAY – June 8 at Bill & Jill Davis’ house. Check back soon for more details but in the mean time, sign up early with your small group leaders or Pastor Kim. **We are looking for extra canoes and/or kayaks to borrow for this event.**
- FEEDING FRENZI - This is our weekly free meal for college & university students which runs from 5:30-6:30pm in the church gym every Thursday during October 4-April 11th. We have finished this program for the year but join us next fall for another year of great meals! Check out the Feeding Frenzi Facebook page for more details.
- SMALL GROUPS - Groups meet on Tuesday & Wednesday nights each week. See the information section below for details on a specific group or location. Feel free to join the group on whichever night best fits your busy schedule.

Small Groups — current study info:
Join us each week as we work through a 6 week study by Andy Stanley called Taking Care of Business. No need to sign up, just come on out to whichever night best fits into your schedule! This study begins Tuesday, April 30/Wednesday, May 1 and runs through Tuesday, June 11/Wednesday, June 12.

The Tuesday night group is held at Steven & Lisa Willson’s house (54 Burbank St. Kitchener) from 7-9pm.
The Wednesday night group is held at the church (in the foyer/cafe area) from 7:30-9:30pm
Small Groups — summer study info:
We will be reading through Francis Chan’s book MULTIPLY as we discuss the concept of “disciples making disciples.” Our hope is that everyone involved in a small group would read along with us. To facilitate this, we will be offering copies of the book at only $5 each. Contact Pastor Kim or your small group leaders today to purchase your copy.

(Sunday Evening Hangout)

Every other Sunday evening, all the young adults will inundate someone’s home following the Sunday evening service…just to hang out, play games and eat. The venue always changes so check the church ‘Calendar of Events‘ or the WPA Young Adults Facebook page for specific event details!

Every Thursday from 5:30-6:30pm we will be hosting a ‘Feeding Frenzi’ for anyone who is a student at one of our local colleges or universities. If you are a student and want an AMAZING free meal with no strings attached, just come on out! Please be sure to have your student card. Small Groups combine a compelling study of God’s Word, small group accountability, social connection and as always, great food. People are welcome to join at any time! We offer Small Groups on two different nights of the week. So whether you join the Tuesday night or the Wednesday night group, you’re going to get the same great study, discussion and accountability.
