No-Limit Youth Ministries

Our youth ministry exists to honour God by reaching those who don’t know him, connecting them with youth who do, helping them to know God better and discover how they can honour God with their lives.

Reaching: We want to reach out to the community and world around us and say we think you are worth knowing, and valuable. Why? because that is the way God sees you and I, and that is the way we want to live!

Connecting: It would be pretty stupid to say you are cool and valuable and then leave! We want to get to know people well, who they are and let them know who we are. So we open up and let people in.

Know: Well, the person we want to know the most is God, no offense to you, but he has done so much for us that we can’t resist giving him so much attention. So we try and connect with him the best we can, learning as much about him as we can, and letting him see all of us!

Discover: Because we know God created us with an identity and destiny, we want to discover what that is. We want to use the gifts and talents he has given us to enrich our lives, the lives of others and bring enjoyment to God (like a dad enjoys seeing his kids use the gifts and talents he teaches them).

Honour: The first four things get summed up in this; we want our lives to honour God, our creator. So we make sure that everyone around us, who gets to know us, can see that we know God, and it has dramatically altered how we live life, and that they can have that too!

September – June:

The VIZ

The VIZ is our Friday night youth service. Our youth night is an exciting service geared towards finding God in our culture and hooking up with Him to find the identity and destiny that He designed for us. With plenty of ‘Big Events’ throughout the year we always have a great time together! A typical night would start at 7pm with time to meet up with friends and hang out before the service starts at 7:30. After the service we reopen all the games and fun so we can chillax till 10pm. Each month will bring in a new theme to highlight the message we are giving helping us to remember and make changes based on how God relates to us and how he wants us to live.

1440

Youth Small Groups 1440, our small group program is awesome! Sometimes its hard to really get to know each other on a Friday night, with all the games and service and stuff. So on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s we meet up in homes throughout the city to really connect with friends and unpack a lot of the God stuff we talk about. 1440 stands for the number of minutes in each day, and how we need to learn how to live God’s way minute by minute, decision by decision. 1440 is one decision that is a no-brainer! Every Tuesday we will meet up, so make sure you get the location and leaders info for the group set up just for you!

 July & August:

NLYM takes on a much more social nature during the summer months. With plenty of outings locally and to theme parks etc. there is something to keep you having fun all summer long. Our summer calendar is usually released mid-June.
