Summer Schedule:

Mystery Youth Events: July 11, 25 & Aug  15

M.Y. Events are just that a mystery! Come out to the church’s evening service, and afterwards we’ll take you on an adventure that will remain a mystery until the service has concluded. The cost for these events are $5 and that will cover any food, admission price, etc that may be incurred for the event. Typically a M.Y. Event will run from the end of service – around 7:30pm till 9pm or a little later. We will give you clear instructions as to any particular pick up location or whether we’ll return to the church before we leave.

Movie in the Park: Aug 12 & 26

Each summer there are movies that are shown in Waterloo Park, at the bandshell. These events usually involve some music and fun before hand. Weather permitting, we’ll meet at the park to take in the movies (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Tooth Fairy). Show up at 6pm and we’ll chill, throw the Frisbee around, hang out before any of festivities begin. Drop off and pick up will be right there at the park (use park entrance off Westmount Rd between David Bauer Dr. and University Ave) . NOTE: a gift to the food bank of a non-perishable food item is asked for by the organizers of the event (their website).

Braeside Youth Service: July 22nd

Can’t make it to camp for the entire week? Come out to a service! We’ll meet at the church at 6:30 pm and drive down to Braeside Camp. The night is always great so don’t miss this one. They have a tuck shop open after service you can get food at before coming home. Return time will be around 11:30pm.

PaintBall: Aug 21

Have a penchant for fun with friends, paint and the outdoors? Paint balling might be for you. Join us as we head to a new paintball arena near Milton, Ultimate Paintball. Cost: $35 for the day (includes food, marker, face/head gear, 100 paintballs) extra paintballs will cost you $10 per 100 with discounts if you buy in bulk. We’ll meet at the church at 7am and be back around 5pm. You’ll need to sign their waiver form beforehand so download it, print it off and have it filled out!

Canada’s Wonderland: Sept 1

What summer isn’t complete without a trip to Wonderland! We’ll be heading up there for our annual back to school trip. Cost for this trip is $45 for the bus trip and admission. No food is supplied all meals must be brought or bought. There will be 2 opportunities to get food from the vehicles during the day. Departure 8am from WPA, return at midnight. We will leave the park promptly at 10pm students who do not return on time could be subject to finding their own transportation home (so don’t be late). Registration deadline for this event will be Aug 22nd.
